For our Turbine Measurement Operation group we are looking for a competent software developer that has potential to become a chief engineer within the field. You will be based in our office in Brande, Denmark.

Our Turbine Measurement Operation group consist of different teams that operate, test and validate our prototype turbines, develop, produce, install and maintain measurement systems and new sensor technologies in our turbines and test rigs and perform special measurements and analysis in our prototype turbines and on components.

How to contribute to our vision

Our Software design team develop and maintain big measurement systems for prototype turbines and test rigs. We are 10 software developers placed in Denmark, Spain and India working on maintenance and development of new features for our measurement systems and corresponding tools, but the team also consists of e.g. experts within different sensor technologies as fiber optics, lidars etc.

You will be working on the “high level” part of the system – where the data is moved to data centers, processed and made available for the end user through e.g. a C# client. There are many different tasks to work on and we all have quite broad roles, but you will be spending most of your time writing code and assist with debugging of advanced issues. Depending on your profile, you can either be backend or frontend developer (or both). However, ideally we are looking for an independently software developer that can raise the level of the entire team and that has potential to be a chief engineer within the field.

What you need to make a difference

You have a master or PhD in computer science and have a few years of experience from a similar job. You like to write code and you are good at solving problems and can contribute with ideas for any problem we might face.

Most importantly, you challenge yourself and your colleagues to achieve the best results. You have a high professional competency and you have a desire to develop your skills. You have good collaboration skills and you can manage to act in different cultural contexts.

Furthermore, you have:

  • Experience with Java (WildFly) and/or C#/.NET
  • Database experience (e.g. MS SQL)
  • Experience with Linux servers
  • A holistic mindset and strong communication skills in English
  • Advantage if you also have experience with measurement systems and/or data analysis.
