Department Overview
Our DIMETRA Express department at Motorola Solutions is based in Glostrup. We are a group of dedicated and skilled software developers, using modern technologies to develop software solutions for mission and business critical communication systems.

Job Description
We are recruiting a software developer to join us, in order to keep delivering additional functionality to our demanding users in the world.

Role highlights

• You will be part of a small scrum team
• You will use JavaScript, Python and Shell script, solving complex programming challenges
• You will be developing web applications with NodeJS
• You will ensure the security and safety of our product
• You will contribute to our end-to-end pipeline development, including deployment and testing

Basic Requirements
We are looking for new graduates or developers with a few years of professional experience, who have a degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering. 

What we expect of you:

• Desire to excel as a software developer
• Very excited to learn more and enhance your skill set
• Passion for solving complex technical problems
• Knowledge of JavaScript, Python, Shell script and C/C++ programming or a desire to learn more within this area
• Knowledge of Linux-based operating systems

Ideally you would have:

• Familiarity with development practices such as Agile and Scrum
• Knowledge of developing web applications with NodeJS
• Experience with with Javascript libraries such as ExpressJS and AngularJS
• Good understanding of IP-based networks
• Knowledge of cyber security methods including secure coding
• Excellent English communication skills
