We’re looking for a great software developer to help us taking the scanning application for our intraoral 3D scanner to the next level.
In 3Shape we are super proud of our market-leading 3D scanners and software. Our intraoral 3D scanner TRIOS is already changing the way people around the world receive dental treatment, and we are now looking for a skilled and passionate software developer to help us continue this journey.
What You’ll Do
You will be part of a team of dedicated software colleagues all working towards providing the best possible scanning experience. You’ll be implementing user stories and tasks, participate in software design and problem-solving discussions, perform code reviews, do pair programming etc. You are typically involved in a task from its beginning to end while still having wide possibilities to apply special efforts in areas in which you excel, e.g. UI and UX, architecture, APIs, 3D algorithms etc.
Besides the colleagues on the team you will also collaborate closely with colleagues from the 3D reconstruction team, as well as the many CAD/CAM software projects relying on the resulting 3D model. Also, you’ll cooperate with the hardware teams making the scanner and associated physical devices.
The way we work
You will join a Kanban team having high degree of autonomy and trust. We have an innovative, dynamic and informal work environment and you’ll be using the newest technologies and tools (C#, .NET, WPF, DirectX, Visual Studio, TeamCity, Perforce and Git).
Skills & Requirements
We are looking for candidates with excellent programming skills including sound knowledge of design patters and OOP principles (e.g. SOLID). You have a relevant education and minimum a few years’ experience in C# / C++ / .Net development.
If you have experience in workflow optimization, UI and UX, architecture or geometric algorithms you earn extra points.
You are motivated by working in an agile environment where trust, collaboration, continuous change, and having fun is key.
As a person you are curious, have good energy, drive and enthusiasm and share our passion for providing high-quality and innovative solutions to improve patient care around the world.
Beyond the cool technical playground of your everyday work, joining the 3Shape fold comes with lots of social and financial perks, including:
- Competitive packages to keep you feeling valued
- Healthcare package to keep you fit and well
- Breakfast, fruit, snacks and hot beverages to keep you fueled
- Fresh lunch cooked by our resident chef in our new canteen to make you smile
- Seasonal parties to keep you connected with colleagues (and hopefully dancing)
- Wine and beer club to keep your palate entertained and nose sharp
- Subsidized massages to keep you pampered and relaxed
- Lunchtime swimming club to keep you in 3Shape-shape
- Yoga and meditation to keep you flexible and happy
