Software Asset Manager for software portfolio development and optimisation

Can you apply your technical insight to ensure a positive development of our software asset management journey? 
 
Join us and become Software Asset Manager in our newly established Contract, Vendor and Software Asset Management team where you and your colleagues will be responsible for managing and optimising the commercial aspects of the software life cycles.  
 
The company has recently initiated a new strategy for software asset management and is restructuring resources as well as SAM model. You’ll become part of the continued journey and be part of a team that currently consists of four people. The team is part of the IT Procurement department, where you’ll also find a team of IT sourcing managers. As part of our Digital Transformation, we’re responsible for helping the business to obtain the needed insight on current and future software and cloud investments.  
 
Your key tasks will be to 

  • help develop and implement our new software asset management model together with the rest of the team, business and external partners 
  • ensure licence compliance, optimisation and risk management, in close collaboration with the team, business stakeholders and software vendors 
  • assist with the management of licence agreements  
  • identify compliance and security risk areas as well as potential for optimisation 
  • assist our finance controllers with internal cost allocation.  

Your competences include that you 

  • have a relevant education and experience from the software licencing area 
  • are familiar with typical licencing metrics, terms and conditions 
  • have insight into cloud services mechanisms  
  • understand how IT is related to and adds value to the business 
  • are competent in both verbal and written Danish and English.  

In addition, you can communicate at all levels of the organisation and convey IT knowledge to the business in a user-friendly and service-minded manner. You’re well-structured and have the ability to efficiently plan, monitor and complete tasks. As a person, you work purposefully, responsibly and persistently with the will and desire to make a difference to our business. If you also have experience with leading licencing tools, it would be advantageous.
