Software Architect

As a software architect at RTX you will join one of our many teams. Here you will take part in the day-to-day operation including coding, but also have the customer change request analysis and design responsibility in the team.
Your architect role is to secure new features and projects are specified, estimated, and documented, so the team can implement according to specification and design.
Your tasks include:
- Analysis and high-level design of new features and projects.
- Collaborate with other architects and secure alignment across teams and organization.
- Communicate with customers and sales to guide them to the best solutions.
- Recognize areas for improvements and drive the change.
- Help define guidelines, design rules and procedures for organization.
- Support and perform code review to ensure quality and functionality.
- Troubleshoot, debug and solve issues that arise.
Who are you?
You must be able to work well in a team but must also be able to work independently when needed. We expect you are flexible and show high responsibility for own tasks. You must be methodical in the approach for problem solving and must have focus on quality of delivered results.
- In depth experience with C/C++ and embedded systems.
- Ability to work in team and independently.
- Structured and ability to manage tasks and projects independently with urgency.
- Excellent English written and oral communications skills.
- BS/MS in Computer Science or related experience.
