SME - Data Engineer, Big Data expert to Analytics Powerhouse
For one of our clients we are looking for a big data expert in Analytics Powerhouse to help design the big data/ analytics platform and accelerate the implementation of the first cases developed on the platform.
There is a need for a real subject matter expert, who can guide and advice the client in regards to choosing the right platform.
The current data landscape include SAP BW/HANA used for the majority of the enterprise data and performance reporting, a few SQL Server reporting based solutions, Azure data lake store gen. 1 and other standalone solutions.
The client is interested in a solution where the big data/analytics platform must play well with SAP BW/HANA and the physical movement of the data between the two platforms must be minimal.
Required skills:
- hands-on experience in implementation of solutions based on the Hadoop stack (Spark, Flume, Kafka, HDFS)
- experience on the Azure platform which is currently used as Acloud platform
- experience in end-to-end implementation of IoT solutions based on real time streaming of sensor data from sites/factories, processing of data and visualization
Start: ASAP- latest 1/3- 2019
