Service Product Manager
You will be responsible for a global service product portfolio and the product development process..
Responsibilities / Tasks
You will be responsible for a global service product portfolio and the product development process within that portfolio from idea generation to commercialisation. The portfolio will be linked to customer applications as well as technologies. Time-to-market is crucial and you will ensure that key challenges in the supply-chain are addressed in the development. You will further develop and optimize products that are already introduced to the market.
- Product management of application portfolio Dairy, Food and Beverage.
- Ensure that GEA have the full needed product portfolio for a strong service business as:
- Inspection and audits offerings
- Corrective and preventive maintenance offerings
- Upgrades, retrofits and modernization offerings
- Optimizations offerings
- Project management including planning, budgeting, resource management
- Product costing and pricing
- Product marketing and product roll-out
- Management of product feed-back
- Sales support and sales tools
- Configuration of service offerings (combining service products into standard or customized offerings)
Your Profile / Qualifications
You have a strong technical background along with business acumen, and you are able to translate customer needs into prime quality service products. You know the importance of high customer satisfaction and ensure product and process reliability. It is natural for you to put yourself in the driver’s seat and you are motivated by having a high degree of exposure to the business. You have hands-on experience in turning your visionary ideas into tangible business results.
Being a problem-solver is a natural part of you and you have the capability to execute on solutions. You are analytical and attentive to details while still able to keep the strategic focus. Inquisitive and innovative by nature you generate ideas and identify new ways of working. You are a self-starter and team member, who fuels your peers towards joint goals, secure deliveries and information levels. You are adept at stakeholder management and able to successfully navigate in an international organization.
Qualifications
- A degree in engineering combined with a background in service, product and/or project management. Ideally, you have a background from the process industry or from a process plant supplier
- Experience with freezer technologies is preferred
- Proficient in English
