The present position will support the BioHealth area, a new strategic focus area in Novozymes.

Key components in the role

  • Write dossiers (novel food) and build documentation in cross functional collaborations with the relevant scientific teams supporting license to operate and speed to market.
  • Develop and execute regulatory strategies in collaboration with business and other relevant stakeholders, ensuring freedom to operate and speed to market.
  • Support regulatory activities with direct interface to business teams and regional RA
  • Work at a strategic and operational level to translate legislation and scientific developments into company product related requirements

Join us as our new Senior Regulatory Affairs Specialist, RA Biohealth, Bagsvaerd
As Senior Regulatory Affairs Expert you will be part of the Global Regulatory team and work closely with BioHealth, transforming your strong scientific skills to develop and execute regulatory strategies and registration plans with a global reach. You will be responsible for coordinating, compiling and creating relevant dossiers (novel food) to the authorities. You will be a member of relevant cross-functional product and project groups and maintain close interaction with stakeholders in biotechnology, other parts of Research & Technology, sales, marketing and with strategic customers and authorities.

Regulatory Affairs is a global organization that provides strategic, tactical and operational support to Novozymes core business on regulatory matters that are critical for the development and launch of safe and effective biosolutions for our customers around the world. We are a high-energy team of 50+ colleagues located over 14 sites in Europe and the Middle East, North and South America, and Asia. 

In this role you’ll make an impact by:

  • Strengthening BioHealth, a new strategic area in Novozymes
  • Being efficient in compiling and writing relevant (novel) food dossiers leading to a fast, global market access
  • Develop and execute regulatory strategies that will ensure freedom of operation and speed to market.
  • Work at a strategic and operational level to translate legislation and scientific developments into company product related requirements
  • Being efficient in stakeholder management, consistency and pace leading to a fast, differentiated global market access

To succeed you must:

  • Hold minimum a MSc or equivalent in science (biotechnology, biology, microbiology, food science or related field)
  • Have some (3-5) years of experience from relevant industry or authority, preferably in Consumer Health Care, Cosmetic or Food & Beverage area (e.g. novel foods)
  • Have solid experience with food regulatory compliance, novel food or health claim submissions
  • Have experience with dossier writing
  • Work at a strategic level and to translate legislation and scientific developments into company product related requirements
  • Have strong communication skills and experience in working with cross disciplinary projects in an international setting
  • Be a team-player with dedication to quality and willingness to learn. You appreciate an informal atmosphere working in a cross-cultural organization.

Location: The position is placed in Regulatory Affairs Operations at Novozymes Headquarters in Bagsvaerd, Denmark.
