You will be a member of the Global Innovation team located at our headquarters in Ballerup, reporting to the Vice President of Front-end System Innovation. Ambu wants to be first in line and deliver new and innovative devices, which rethink existing processes and combine several technologies. This means that we set high demands to your technical skills and experience.
In collaboration with external partners in electronics development, you will be responsible for the entire electronic design within the electrical field. This includes all the development stages from a-z; from the initial concept brief, through to the design and development stage, to the testing, and the final manufacture and implementation of a new product or system. You will also be responsible for documentation and testing of the products according to FDA and ISO. In addition, you will assist QA/RA in the regulatory area and the electronic area.
You will have a varied working day and collaborate cross-functionally with colleagues from Ambu’s global organisation. You will work closely with our global innovation teams in Malaysia and USA, internal departments involved in product development as well as subcontractors, users and knowledge centers.
Solid experience and great interpersonal skills
In order to be successful in the job, you need to be comfortable working with both internal and external partners where your outstanding interpersonal skills ensure long-lasting and valuable solutions. We are looking for a positive, well structured, and detail-oriented team player who is able to challenge existing processes and combine a proactive mind-set with the ability to plan, execute and meet deadlines.
We expect you to have more than 5 years of experience within electronic hardware development. You probably hold a master’s degree in electronics engineering.
Furthermore, you have solid experience with:
- Analogue & Digital Hardware Design
- Hardware/software interaction and implementation
- Development cooperation with subcontractors in Europe and Asia
- Review of electrical design
- Review of Electrical Patient Safety
- Verification and testing
- Documentation of the work according to FDA/ISO
- Insight in different Communication Technologies (including Wireless)
If you have experience with IEC60601-1 and EMC requirements as well as experience with electro-optic systems it will be an advantage.
It is essential that you are fluent in English and that you are able to travel approximately 20 days a year.
