We are looking for a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer who can take up this exiting position in the Corporate Quality Engineering department. As a Quality Assurance Engineer you will take an active role in driving compliance within the QA organization, facilitating understanding of quality requirements across the Ambu organization, driving continuous improvement of global processes and collaborating closely with colleagues in Denmark, Malaysia, China, USA and Germany.

You will be part of a strong quality culture, where we keep ahead of new regulatory requirements and constantly strive for improvements. You will work from our Headquarters in Ballerup, Denmark and join a Corporate Quality Engineering team where you will refer to the Head of Corporate QAE Compliance & SQM.

A global job with impact
In this job as Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, you will get a varied working day in a dynamic organization where you impact Ambu’s quality processes and your own daily tasks and responsibilities.
Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Responsible for Customer complaint process globally in Ambu
  • Responsible for handling of CAPA; Non-conformities; Planned Deviations
  • Support Process improvements within QAE
  • Support ad hoc projects as QAE representative in cross functional team
  • You can expect some travel activity (5-20 days per year) in connection with global training, audit, conferences etc.

Experience with Medical Devices and teamwork
To succeed in the job, you must have a relevant academic background - e.g. a MSc / BSc in engineering or similar, and preferable minimum 5 years’ experience from working within a quality organization for Medical Devices. You must have experience within medical device customer complaint process.

As a person, you have a passion for quality, and have a strong personal drive. You are structured and can maintain a good overview in sometimes stressful environments, and you possess excellent teamwork skills and can collaborate well with others.
