As part of the Corporate Quality Assurance Engineering team, you will support product development teams in developing and introducing medical devices within our product range.

Working from our Headquarters in Ballerup, you will join a team with colleagues in Denmark, USA and Asia, and you will refer to the Director of Corporate Quality Assurance Engineering.

A global job with an impact
In the job as Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, you will have the chance to impact product development and your own daily tasks and responsibilities. You will experience a very varied working day in a dynamic organisation. You will work closely with your colleagues, particularly colleagues in Denmark and Asia, but also in the US.

Your main responsibilities will be to:

  • Ensure professional and proactive QA Engineering support to the development projects
  • Responsible for risk management as part of support to innovation projects
  • Perform supplier audit as part of selection new suppliers to innovation projects and continuous monitoring of strategic suppliers
  • Continuous development of products through quality tools as Corrective and Preventive Actions

 You can expect some travel activity (10-20 days per year) in connection with development projects, supplier audits, conferences, etc.

Experience with Medical Device and teamwork
To succeed in the job, you need to have a background as engineer with more years of experience within design control of medical devices in a QA department and you have experience with performing risk management for Medical Devices. Additionally, you need to have experience with Supplier Audits and preferable a trained lead auditor. Your professional background is biomedical, mechanical, electrical or software engineer.

It is important that you have a structured approach to your work, but at the same time, you are open-minded and see possibilities. You have a clear ability to maintain overview in a at times hectic environment and you are a team player with the ability to work independently.

It is natural for you to take charge and you are proactive, good at prioritising, planning and finalising your tasks.
