The position

As our new Sr. Project Manager in Novo Nordisk Pharmatech, you will be responsible for securing that goals, milestones and success criteria for our projects are accurately described. Your knowledge of pharmaceutical processes, as well as the importance of good documentation, allow you to define valid measurement systems to assess goal fulfilment.

Together with key project members, you create project plans with appropriate levels of detail and present these plans to management. You provide clarity on responsibilities and expectations in your project-team and set the tone when it comes to feedback procedures, meeting structure and the routines of collaboration. You provide timely and relevant updates on project status for all key stakeholders, reporting and adjusting for any deviations from your plans as you advance the projects.

You will be working with people with many different backgrounds, across organisational levels and geography, when you dig into details in the production lines, report your results to top management, or meet the operators that will be affected by your decisions. Your operational base will be at our site in Køge, beautifully located by the bay.

Qualifications

  • You have an engineering degree production/ process engineering, mechanical – or pharmaceutical engineering or similar
  • You have at least 6+ years of experience in working with production and/or infrastructure and you have solid experience with change management
  • You have solid experience in project management, scale-up- or new build of facilities and compliance projects
  • You have the broad knowledge to comprehend and drive projects of high complexity with many stakeholders from different areas of expertise.
  • You are familiar with project management models and you know your way around process optimization and have a profound understanding of Process Performance Qualification and Lean.
  • You are fluent in English and Danish, both written and spoken

It is advantage if you have worked with technical projects in a regulated and automated production environment and have knowledge within Scada systems, PLC etc.

As Project Manager you are capable of creating a vision for the project team and share your optimism and solid plans that makes people engaged in the project. You know how to motivate your team members when difficult challenges arise, and you show the way by having a can-do attitude.

You convey your authority effortlessly, and you earn the trust and respect of the people you work with. You are pragmatic in your approach - while prioritising to stay within scope and budget, we also count on your creativity in getting the most out of the resources and opportunities at hand. You proactively prevent problems before they emerge and anticipate any issues that might challenge the advancement of the project.

The department

The Project Management office (PMO) handles projects of different sizes and scopes from tech transfer to full-scale production, covering rebuild of existing production facilities, introducing new products to the market, as well as implementations of methods, digitalisation of processes, equipment, IT and buildings.

The Project Management office is expanding as a central unit that drives and coordinates strategic and cross functional projects, including giving support to Novo Nordisk Pharmatech centre of excellence in Project Management.
