  • look out for opportunities to improve the business by using optimisation
  • act as a point of contact for optimisation knowledge within the business
  • be involved in delivering large software and modelling-related projects and to mature our processes in relation to the development of numerical tools.

You’ll furthermore ensure the streamlining of data formats and tools building throughout the Offshore organisation.

Your competences include that you

  • hold a PhD or master’s degree in the natural sciences or a related field, e.g. computer science, physics, mathematics, operations research, etc.
  • have extensive experience with numerical software programming
  • have expert knowledge of modelling and optimisation, enabling you to assist in a variety of tasks in clear alignment with the overall strategy
  • preferably have a strong knowledge of computer science as well as experience with design of (optimisation) algorithms
