We are searching for a new Senior Master Data Specialist to join in on the master data mission to continuously improve our master data maturity, quality, scalability and business value through global data governance, compliance, optimization, standardization and automation of processes and implementation of new ways of working.
Our global Master Data Management (MDM) function is a part of our Global IT organization – a truly global organization with 160 specialists and managers across the world, all working with the same IT strategy to meet the business requirements of the strategic ambitions set forth in the business strategy. The MDM function works within our main data domains - materials, production, customers and vendors, and consists of two teams: One team based in Denmark and one team based in Colombia.
You will join the MDM team in Denmark as Senior Master Data Specialist, and we offer a senior specialist position in a global company with excellent opportunities for personal development and growth. What would your role look like?
As a Senior Master Data Specialist your main responsibilities are to plan, coordinate, drive and manage a range of master data initiatives – both Technical and business projects with dependency on master data and internal optimizations and automations.
You will furthermore act as business consultant and provide business sparring and consultancy towards several business unit as subject matter expert with focus on master data governance and data quality.
In addition, you will:
- Develop, anchor and improve business and master data procedures with a holistic approach
- Establish and enforce our global MDM governance
- Work closely with our MDM team in Colombia to secure alignment
- Prepare and conduct presentations and documentation to stakeholders and project organizations
Who are we looking for?
For this position, we are looking for a candidate with a solid MDM background and experience. You must have a data centric mindset and be in possession of a strong drive and stakeholder management skills, as you will engage with many different stakeholders at different levels in the organization.
In addition, you preferably have:
- A strong understanding of the business, business processes and operating models
- Experience with ERP/SAP master data structures and data models within Materials (MM), Production (PP/BOM’s), customers and vendors
- Good level of project management skills
- The ability to create cross-functional relations and handle tasks simultaneously and with tight deadlines
