Then you might be our new Senior Manager for Manufacturing Development in R&D at Novo Nordisk Pharmatech A/S.
About the team
R&D Manufacturing Development consists of 14 highly motivated and competent Lab. Technicians, Development Scientists, Principal Scientists, and Project Managers. ManDev are responsible for the entire product portfolio once handed over from Research, during development and scale-up, and until successful technology transfer to Manufacturing and QC.

Product lifecycle management such as process optimizations and support to critical product related tasks is also part of ManDev’s responsibility, and a crucial delivery to secure delivery of already marketed products to customers.

The job
As Senior Product Manager you will be responsible for all late-stage enzyme and purification resin development projects, approved by the Product Steering Group, from lab scale via pilot scale and to Production scale, and life cycle product management. The Manufacturing Development team are responsible for ensuring smooth technology transfer of robust and sustainable processes to Production, reliable analytical methods to QC, as well as suitable raw materials and packaging to Supply Chain. You will have a shared R&D responsibility for ensuring continuous maintenance and improvement of the lab facilities, as well as a new Pilot Facility currently being established for scale-up and production of new customized purification resins. Successful collaboration with stakeholders both within Novo Nordisk and the external pharmaceutical market is key in the position as Senior Manager for ManDev, and experience with managing partnerships and CMO’s will be considered an advantage.
Qualifications
- M.Sc. in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Engineering, or another relevant field within pharmaceutical sciences. A PhD in protein or enzyme chemistry and specific knowledge within protein purification will be considered an advantage
- Minimum 4-6 years of leadership experience
- Professional experience and knowledge of working with product development and/or pilot manufacturing in GxP regulated facilities
- Fluent in written and spoken English and willingness to learn Danish if needed

You are result-oriented and take pride in delivering on your milestones, and you motivate your colleagues with a positive, forthcoming attitude. You work independently, although it also motivates you to cooperate with colleagues and stakeholders across functions and departments.
