Ready to take on a senior role and set the direction for machine learning as part of a small, dedicated team?

Join GN Hearing and contribute to feature, platform and technology development and work with cutting-edge technologies.

“We are a young and dynamic team. You get the opportunity to influence the direction and future of ML at GNH.” says Kris Kegel Sørensen, Senior data scientist.

We inspire innovation
Join GN Hearing at our HQ in Ballerup, Denmark. More than 8% of our revenue goes into research and development – enabling us to create intelligent audio solutions that transform the lives of people with hearing impairment.

In our R&D Machine Learning team, you will become part of a small and enthusiastic group of data scientists who are passionate about their work. Moreover, you can look forward to collaborating and sharing knowledge with our research teams in the Netherlands and USA.

Leave your mark on machine learning
As our new senior machine learning engineer, you will help us create ML models to make user-centric products and improve the hearing aid experience. In that way, you will help our users hear more, do more and be more than ever thought possible.

Our methods utilize Python and Azure, and you will also work with Pandas, Spark, XGBoost, Random Forest, and Neural Networks.

Taking on a senior role in the team, you will help set the direction for our cloud-based ML model infrastructure and architecture. As such, some of your key tasks will be to:

  • Select and implement appropriate architecture for handling large data sets
  • Set-up data pipelines
  • Build and deploy ML models
  • Support data access internally across GNH departments

Experienced machine learning afficionado
To succeed in this role, you are a team player who likes to exchange ideas with your colleagues and engage with a variety of colleagues from different departments – from audiologists to marketeers and R&D professionals. You also thrive working in an environment where you get to set your own direction.

Moreover, you:

  • Have experience working in Azure
  • Have used Pyspark or similar
  • Have a master’s in software engineering or similar and at least 5 years relevant work experience
  • Can write robust code in Python
  • Speak and write English effortlessly as English is our corporate language
