Are you up for the challenge?

We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Loads Engineer to join our loads team working with fully coupled aero-hydro-servo-elastic simulations of our future floating foundations for offshore wind.

Take floating wind from concept to commercial scale
You will be working on setting up models and performing integrated load analyses of our next floating foundation prototype in all development phases from early FEED, detailed design until final certification.

Your primary tasks will be:

• Carrying out integrated load analysis as part of design development and verification
• Post-processing of data from simulations • Working closely with structural engineers on load mapping
• Assisting in execution of scale model wave tank tests
• Load model validation using measurements from prototype foundations and scale model tank tests
• Define and coordinate roadmap of tasks for realization of project and team objectives

Your profile
You have several years of experience working with coupled hydro-structural-dynamic loads simulations of complex systems, and preferably you bring experience from the offshore wind industry or the floating offshore oil & gas sector.
Relevant experience in carrying out integrated load analysis using software such as OrcaFlex, HAWC2, FAST, SIMO-Riflex, etc. and experience in comprehensive data post-processing is a distinct advantage.

Experience in developing tools in MATLAB and Python for supporting load calculation and analysis processes.

Experience with design standards as well as wind turbine or project certification would be an asset.
