Senior HSE Specialist for a healthy and safe workplace

Are you a data-driven problem-solver with a deep understanding of how and why incidents occur? Are you capable of identifying improvement opportunities from raw health and safety data and turning these into value-adding projects?

Join us and become Senior HSE Specialist in the Wind Power HSE Support & PMO team, where you’ll be responsible for both data analytics and project management of data-driven HSE initiatives. HSE Support & PMO provides subject matter expertise and project management support to the wider Wind Power (WP) organisation.

Your key tasks will be to

• provide WP HSE with nuanced and intelligent analyses of raw HSE data 
• develop and implement an agile project management framework for responding to observed trends and variations in HSE performance
• develop recommendations for improvement initiatives based on the findings of your analyses and subsequently manage these as discrete projects, harnessing the specialist capabilities of your colleagues in WP wherever possible
• support the WP HSE Management team with ad hoc analyses and reporting tasks
• facilitate the development of the WP HSE Management System. 

Furthermore, you’ll provide input and support so the full breadth of HSE initiatives run through the HSE Support & PMO team. 

Your competences include that you

• have solid, proven experience in interpretation of QHSE data
• have a strong track record of successful project management of QHSE initiatives
• have a well-developed understanding of complex systems - such as those used to manage operational risk in the energy sector - and how they can fail
• have a relevant academic or technical background, e.g. BSc in engineering or mariner with operational experience in complex organisations
• are a practitioner of either Human Factors, Barrier Management or Incident Investigation. 

In addition, you couple your strong initiative with a pragmatic approach to solving complex problems. You communicate effectively at all levels of an organisation and thrive on creating opportunities to work collaboratively and spread knowledge across business functions. You’re motivated to work in an international environment and speak and write English fluently.
