Senior Hardware Engineer

Dynaudio, the legendary Danish speaker maker, is looking for a new Senior Hardware Engineer to work at our HQ in Skanderborg.
About the job
In this role you will take the lead in the design of next generation hardware platforms in cooperation with the rest of the team. You are the go-to person for guidance on power electronics and you participate in the creation of system specifications, test plans and setup of test environments. Furthermore, you take an active role in research and technology projects wherever needed.
Other responsibilities include:
- Debug systems when bugs are reported
- Review schematics from ODMs
- Build up required test specification for external partners
- Develop measurement setup for pre-tests prior to certification (EMC, Radio)
- Review documentation from other team members prior to sharing information with the rest of the house
About the department
We’re a team of 6 colleagues securing the hardware and software designs of the best speakers in the world as well as the country specific certifications needed. We each have our strengths and main responsibilities but we get nowhere without each other. We are a part of the R&D department in Dynaudio consisting of around 30 colleagues in Denmark and more colleagues in China. Everyone in Dynaudio is a part of the final product and we focus on cooperation and treating each other professionally.
About you
You hold a B.Sc. or an M.Sc. in Electronics Engineering and have at least 5 years’ experience in the audio industry. You know Power electronics thoroughly - preferably from working with audio products. You are skilled at designing, reviewing and debugging audio electronics and you are adept at working with technologies like I2S, I2C, SPI, UART etc.
Furthermore, you know e-cad tools such as Cadence suite, OrCAD, PSpice, and PCB layout as well as programming languages such as Python, C, and C++.
You are a team player with a good sense of humour and a skilled communicator.
English is our main company language, so you’ll need to be comfortably fluent in both writing and speaking it too.
