Senior Engineering Project Manager

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to join the Engineering team at our technology hub in Sønderborg or one of our offices in Denmark, Sweden, or Poland.

As our new colleague, you will join a rapidly growing Engineering team and report to the Director of Engineering Projects. The Engineering organisation comprises talented and passionate specialists in Mechanical, Electrical, Grid, Simulation, and Project engineering.
Most of our engineers are placed in Sønderborg, next to our advanced 2 MW PV test facility centre, one of the biggest in Europe. Power electronics, data communication, tracking systems, battery storage systems and steel constructions are developed, tested, and optimised.
Our top priority is to bring our project engineering to the next level, and we see you have an important role in this mission.
How you will make a difference in Better Energy
You will be heading cross-functional engineering projects to develop new PV solutions, technologies, and improvement projects.

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:
- Creation of business cases and project proposals
- Ensure Project objectives are met on time and within budget.
- Risk Management
- Team members Role & Responsibility definition
- Stakeholder management within the entire organization, suppliers, and external institutes
- Conduct milestone plans and reports.
You will be at either our office in Sønderborg, our new office in Kolding, HQ in Copenhagen or offices in Malmö or Warsaw/Gdansk. Regular travel between your office and our technology hub in Sønderborg, as well as occasional visits to other Better Energy offices, must be expected.
So, who are we looking for?
You are an experienced Project Manager with project management experience developing and implementing new products/systems within an international organisation. We expect you to have a relevant educational background in electrical engineering or other equivalent BSc or MSc degree.
Our specialised PV constructions are technically advanced and require a technical understanding gained through education or practical experience. You should also have knowledge and experience with agile methodologies.
You take initiative and are action and result-oriented with a focus on innovative and structured problem-solving, despite changing circumstances. Also, you have solid communication skills in English, both spoken and written, and you establish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
