Are you up for the challenge?
We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Engineer to manage and lead the continued development and implementation of our GridScale thermal energy storage system. GridScale is a technology with the potential to greatly improve the penetration of renewable energy production in Denmark and globally.

Taking GridScale from prototype to commercial scale
You will be the senior engineer in the design team working to further improve and mature the technology. GridScale uses turbo compressors and expanders to convert electrical energy to and from heat stored in various materials. You will participate in all phases from calibration of models to concept development and commercial scale projects.

Your primary tasks will be:

• Optimizing full process modelling
• Driving dialogue of technical nature with customers and suppliers
• Prototype and demonstration plant testing and analysis of process results
• Capturing and implementing learnings from prototypes
• Quality assurance of design work
• Planning and scoping of tasks
• Influencing design towards low-cost solutions

Your profile
You have an engineering background and several years of experience with system design,  preferably including turbo machinery. Relevant industries could be power production, com-pressor and expander development, cooling industry or similar.

We expect you to approach your work with enthusiasm and to be self-driven, passionate, and committed. It is natural for you to take on responsibility and you are confident in the role of team leader. You perform well in the dynamic environment of a start-up organization.
