Would you like to shape and build our software solutions together with professional colleagues in a small team working dedicated on our existing low power technology creating new innovative products for advanced hearing protection
  
Join a pioneering team of dedicated specialists
Joining our Advanced Hearing Protection Department, you will be part of a small independent team of international software, hardware and mechanical engineers. We develop sophisticated software and hardware for use together with state-of-the-art militarily Tactical Radio Communication. 

With the latest technology, we create the best solutions for advanced hearing protection products and communication and we test our products in close collaboration with our high demanding customers. This ultimately enables them to hear more, do more and be more than ever thought possible in complex acoustic environments.

Secure high-quality sound experiences 
As our new Senior DSP Engineer, your focus will be to develop new, refine and improve existing algorithms for in close corporation with Research, System Architect and Electro-Acoustical teams. You will develop, adapt and optimize these algorithms on our DSP platform in order to optimize the sound experience, that include 3D sound/spatialization, for our different headsets e.g. in-the-ear, on-the-ear.
You own the testing of your project deliveries, and during the integration iterations, you support the debugging and contribute to solving any challenges. Sparring, peer reviews, improvements and knowledge sharing are also part of your daily work
You will take part in all R&D phases and be responsible for follow throughout the research, design, test and qualification phases and into final implementation.

Pragmatic senior DSP engineer with algorithm experience

  • A degree in Electrical Engineering, minimum at Master level
  • You are an expert in the following areas:
    o    Low-power audio and signal processing.
    o    Low-level assembler implementation 
    o    Audio hardware, AD/DA converters, microphones, speakers, and lab equipment. 
    o    Version control, issue tracking, software design. 
    o    Algorithm simulation tools like Matlab.
  • Expertise in Adaptive filter design and applications like echo cancellation and noise reduction
  • Basic understanding of acoustic engineering and psychoacoustics
  • Experience developing on low-power ARM Cortex-Mx platforms
  • Experience with Voip, audio coding and error concealment
  • Familiarity with common communications protocols (SPI, I2C, CAN, USB, RS-232)
  • You speak, read and write English fluently
