As part of the Desktop & Online applications team based at our headquarters in Ballerup, you will join project managers, product owners, Scrum masters, and your fellow engineers in our mission to create easy to use, well-crafted solutions that allow our customers to utilize Jabra devices to their full potential.

What will you be doing?
A modern Jabra device is much more than audio and video. While our primary goal is to support device configuration and management for private and enterprise customers, Jabra relies on the team to create innovative solutions that collect and utilize the environmental data that our devices produce. Our IT-platform consists of a backend built using microservice architecture with .NET Core / C#, running in Microsoft Azure, and micro frontends Angular web-applications. You will be working both on the frontend and backend parts.

We take DevOps seriously, so be prepared to release often and take responsibility for your work, and to be ambitious and conscious about the need for quality, when releasing solutions to the millions of customers, who rely on us.

Your primary responsibilities will be:

• Participating in requirement specification and feature development
• Writing functioning, well-tested and readable code in C# & TypeScript
• Creating beautiful, well-crafted web applications primarily using Angular
• Becoming an Azure specialist able to take full advantage of the platform
• Performing code reviews and pull requests
• Releasing updates and monitoring running solutions

We work in teams using the Scrum methodology organized in bi-weekly sprints. Besides interaction with your team, you will collaborate with stakeholders and partners from inside and outside the organization located all over the world.

Sound good so far? Here is what you will need to succeed:
You are an engineer with at least 5 years of experience under your belt. The important thing is that you are a doer with a true passion for software design and development.

Further, we require that you:

• are familiar with .NET framework, C#, and TypeScript
• have fundamental understanding of and experience with cloud platforms, Microsoft Azure
• have experience creating web applications using a framework, preferably Angular
• take pride in your solid, testable, and readable code
• have a desire to make an impact
• have ideas, that you will back up and argue rationally and convincingly. At the same time, you are open and respectful of others’ opinions and suggestions
• speak and write fluent English

Location: We hope that you are willing to relocate and join our team in Ballerup, Copenhagen. However, we are open to you working remotely too if you possess this capacity.
