Senior Concepting Project Manager for advanced product solutions

At GN Audio, we understand what it takes to create best-in-class sound solutions. We have pioneered the development of headsets using groundbreaking audio and wireless technologies. This includes the consumer headset Jabra Elite 75t and our Evolve2 series – engineered to be the world’s most powerful professional headsets.

You will lead your own multidisciplinary team of around 10 engineers, each with a unique specialization within audio, video, UX, software, electronic or mechanical engineering. This gives you a solid foundation for continuity in concepting and development. Moreover, you and your team will collaborate closely with colleagues in the US, Denmark and China within R&D, Product Management, Industrial Design, Sourcing and Quality during the concept development phase.

Be our project manager and creative driving force
As our senior concepting project manager, you will have a strong focus on challenging product making, user and market needs, business and product strategy as well as suppliers and costs. Stakeholder management will play an important part in your work as you will navigate a complex and dynamic organization, engaging with a wide array of functions, including R&D line management, business management, operations, marketing and senior management.

Although you will become part of a matrix organizational structure, you will lead longer collaborations with a more fixed team set-up than usual – therefore, both your project leadership skills and your talent for team management will come into play.

Specifically, you will:

• Plan and lead technology development, prototyping and concept development
• Drive concepting sprints of approx. 2-3 weeks, ensuring that they comply with the timing and scope of the overall concepting project
• Deliver strong product concepts that are efficiently transferred to product development teams

Contribute with your leadership skills and creative ideas
We are looking for a colleague with passion for tech solutions and great user experiences. That – combined with your project management skills and business acumen – allows you to maintain a holistic view and evaluate the commercial viability of concepts as well as the aspect of user experience before the products reach production.

Furthermore, you are a natural leader with a strong drive and the ability to communicate efficiently with stakeholders at all levels.

You bring:

• 5+ years’ experience with project management, preferably within product development
• Solid knowledge of consumer electronics on a global scale
• A degree on bachelor’s or master’s level in a relevant field, such as engineering or computer science
• Fluency in English
