Senior Application Consultant/Technical Application Responsible with a passion for application management

Would you like to make a difference and help us implement and develop our applications within the QHSE domain?

Join us and become Senior Application Consultant/Technical Application Responsible in Document & Information Management Systems where you’ll be responsible for some of our important QHSE applications throughout the entire IT life cycle. You’ll manage and coordinate all development, support and maintenance activities from initial requirements to release, ensuring that IT suppliers fulfil their obligations. You’ll also coordinate and manage cooperation between the business, external IT suppliers and our service teams in Denmark and Malaysia, as well as managing product backlogs and a scrum team in Malaysia. The department is responsible for application life cycle management for a large group of applications within the document and information management area.

Your key tasks will be to

  • translate business requirements into IT system requirements in collaboration with your business stakeholders
  • collaborate with IT suppliers
  • describe and prioritise product backlog items
  • ensure that our systems are running smoothly
  • ensure that IT suppliers fulfil their obligations.

Furthermore, you’ll participate in various projects on incoming applications to ensure a smooth transition to operations, as well as following up on and managing the budget for your application portfolio.

Your competences include that you

  • have a master’s degree in IT or extensive IT experience
  • have experience with IT projects and extensive application management experience
  • have a proactive and systematic approach to your work tasks
  • speak and write English fluently
  • are able to create good relationships with the business and IT stakeholders.

You thrive in an international environment and have experience with global delivery. Ideally, you have experience with QHSE applications, such as Aris and Synergy. Furthermore, you’re able to juggle and prioritise many different tasks simultaneously. Previous experience from working with suppliers and ensuring that they deliver according to service level agreements is an advantage.
