Do you want to join the exciting and challenging prospect of developing new and better smart home solutions at an innovative company that pushes the limits of the IoT?
Here, you get to improve the lives of consumers directly by enabling the use of remote control of an ever-growing variety of connected devices - from home security to energy management, media, lighting, and remote home monitoring, just to name a few.
This is your opportunity to:
- build the mission critical innovative RF analog subsystems that are not yet on the market
- be a driving force in the continued development of mixed-signal subsystems for our RF transceiver core
- develop new and exciting projects within the IoT segment RF design and analog CMOS circuits
Innovate extremely power efficient circuit implementations
Sigma Designs is further expanding our Copenhagen office and looking for a knowledgeable and analytical professional for our ASIC team. In this position, we have enabled you and your colleagues to focus on designing the mission critical RF analog subsystems that let our chips stand out. Thus, using your experience as an RF CMOS-ASIC designer, you get to use your capability of creating extremely low power and low noise solutions that go beyond the textbook.
Creating results the productive way
You apply your skills in teams, creating many flavors of RF circuits, power handling circuits, and data acquisition circuits, currently using Cadence design tools. Many of these circuits are fitted with digital interfaces and optimized for integrations into mixed signal systems. You also get to architect and implement mixed signal systems, using your modelling skills beyond circuit level.
Cooperating with external layout designers, following up on their work, you perform floor planning and layout supervision. Finally, you get to document your work and prove your results in the lab.
A strong team
You become a part of an international company counting approximately 50 people locally in Denmark. Working in cross-functional teams with our MPSoC and software specialists, you can look forward to challenging tasks and professional feedback in a company that still has the feel of being a start-up enterprise. We welcome innovation, giving you a large say in how we do things and an impact on your daily life within the organization.
Experience with RF transistor design and transceiver architectures
Your most important skill is your understanding of design and RF circuits, transistor design and RF systems. You probably have experience with RF/analog mixed signal IC design as well.
- You have strong modelling skills and can characterize and model both linear and non-linear circuits and use IC design CAD tools such as Cadence, Spectre RF, or Spice simulators
- You have a solid understanding of RF CMOS circuit design, circuit simulation, and design verification
- You have experience with device physics, ultra-low power and low noise design techniques and lab skills
On a personal level, you are proactive, curious and have the drive to create results. You are a strong team player, enjoying the cross-functional collaboration within and outside Sigma Designs Denmark.
