If you like working with dedicated equipment with advanced hardware and many moving parts, then you might be our new colleague. At FOSS, we provide analytical instruments that help improve production processes and product quality in food, agricultural and other industries.

In R&D Software, we develop embedded software for the analytical instruments and PC software interfacing with the analytical instruments.
Today, we are more than 75 people in R&D Software - and we are continuously growing. By joining us as Scrum Master/Software Developer, you will have the opportunity to work with highly skilled colleagues in strong teams, as well as working on exciting projects with advanced technologies.  

The job
You will take on an exciting and challenging job, where you will have two primary roles: Scrum master, where we expect you to own the agile framework, i.e. facilitate the scrum ceremonies, address impediments and work with the team as coach Software developer, where you will implement PC and/or embedded software for our analytical instruments. The balance between the two roles will be approximately 75% software developer and 25% scrum master.
Your daily work will be at the FOSS Innovation Center (FIC) in Hillerød - a modern office building with great facilities that support our software development activities. FIC will very soon be extended, making room for +300 more colleagues.
  
Primary tasks
In your role as scrum master, you will: be scrum master for a development team of 4-6 people work with the product owner to ensure high-quality, solid and predictable deliveries maintain overview of Epics, Features and Tasks in the backlog - do forecasting, etc.  In your role as software developer, you will - depending on your skills and areas of interest: design new features together with product owner, product specialists and other stakeholders implement features in C# implement features in C++ ensure (unit) test and documentation of your work  

Qualifications
We are looking for a skilled software engineer or computer scientist, with experience with C++ and/or C#, and experience with agile (e.g. Scrum) development. You have strong communication and networking skills, and possess solid skills in verbal and written English. Experience with Linux is considered a plus, but is not a requirement Your talent and potential is more important than your experience.
