MAN Energy Solutions is looking for a Sales Manager for Spare parts
Two-stroke diesel engines that use the least possible fuel and emit the fewest possible harmful particles. We design, develop, test and service them. You will find our engines and solutions on large ships sailing the world; from Aruba to Zanzibar.

MAN PrimeServ is a fast-paced unit with an informal atmosphere where focus is on customers and performance. Being part   of the MAN PrimeServ, MAN Energy Solutions’ after sales and service business, you will work, together with local companies and international customers, mainly within the marine industry.

To secure our future growth according to a clear strategy and strong customer focus we are looking for a Sales Manager   for our Spare parts department with location in Copenhagen, where you will be responsible for regional sales of spare parts.

Job responsibilities:
As Sales Manager you will be responsible for budgets and sales in your area within the marine business. You will likewise be responsible for creating and maintaining customer relations and securing a close cooperation with our local sales team in international group companies in your area.

Main responsibilities:

  • Sales of spare parts for 2 stroke engines  
  • Business support to local companies
  • Sales budgeting and market analysis
  • Creating and maintaining customer relations
  • Pricing and negotiation in cooperation with local sales team
  • Active participation in development of sales and offerings
  • Promotion of predefined strategic products
  • Customer visits and travels in area 50-70 days/year

Profile/Qualifications:  

  • Sales oriented with a commercial flair
  • You are self-driven with an entrepreneurial mindset
  • Experience with technical B2B sales is a must
  • Competitive and always strive to provide your customers with the best service possible
  • Excellent networking skills
  • Able to communicate and on all levels in an international environment and be authoritative when  required
  • Interest in technical challenges within a  competitive commercial atmosphere is a plus
  • Commercial educational background (e.g. Export  Engineer / Marine Engineer or other relevant education)
  • Fluent in English both oral and in writing
  • Able to navigate  in a complex matrix organization HQ & Local sales offices
