Direct Sales is looking for an experienced Sales Manager within the 2-stroke Business Unit.
About us
Direct Sales is a team of 7 dedicated sales- and project managers responsible for sales and order handling of complete propulsion packages consisting of 2-stroke propulsion engines and 4-stroke marine gensets in combination with other MAN products. We collaborate across different sites and sales units within MAN with an ambition to sell complete propulsion packages to selected marine customers on a global scale. We seek to maintain our position as a preferred partner for our brand and to provide a high level credibility and value towards our customers.
Your qualifications
- International sales and/or project experience
- Experienced traveler with diversified cross cultural skills
- Solid communicative skills, fluid in English
- Engineer or similar educational background
- Team player and team organizer, prepared to take the lead
- Proactive, persistent and patient
- Experience within the marine business is preferred.
Your tasks
- Sales of complete 2-stroke propulsion packages
- Processing customer inquiries, technically and commercially
- Collaboration and teaming-up with other MAN entities
- Issuing commercial quotations of propulsion packages
- Customer support and counselling
- Contract preparation and negotiation
- Sales approval process and hand-over to the project handling team.
