Robotics engineer (R&D front office), Odense, Denmark

…Then you could be the Robotics Engineer we are looking for to join us in our Front Office team.

Our Front Office team is responsible for supporting internal and external customers, including coordination with Supply Chain, Service and Quality departments regarding bug-fixes, re-designs, adjustments and product releases. The team works in close collaboration with the rest of the R&D (Back Office) development teams.

You will be part of a high-performance team whose members are jointly responsible for trouble-shooting on all manner of interactions between mechanical design, high-level software and electronics

Primary responsibilities in the role are:

  • Trouble-shooting and solving issues from production, service departments or customers
  • Maintaining the embedded code base in our products
  • Participation as key project-member or leader in cross-functional projects

The work is highly complex and requires that you deal with solving complex challenges and are able to shift between micro-details to overall perspective. Coordination and good collaborative skills will be of great importance for your success.

Qualifications, Experience, Skills & Education
Your educational background is based in engineering with a BSc in a robotics engineering field - preferably also an MSc in engineering. Furthermore, you come with some relevant experience from the industry e.g. working with robotics development in a role where you have shown your ability to work in a cross-functional capacity.

The length of your experience is less important to us, but we do require that you have experience in working with:

  • Embedded C programming
  • Basic understanding of electronics and mechanics
  • Mathematics and physics
  • C++ and/or Python
  • Motor control
  • Functional Safety / safety-related software
  • VHDL programming
  • Continuous integration and revision control systems (GIT)
  • Six Sigma methodology - DMAIC process
