Who we are
We are an early-stage robotics startup developing innovative mobile robots to automate routine tasks in hospital wards. Our goal is for our mobile robots to assist nurses, and relieve them from simple but time-consuming tasks so they can focus on care tasks that require a more personal touch.

We are a team of 3 (two Computer Scientists from DTU and one Industrial Designer from KADK) working full-time. We are now looking to expand our team with a talented and ambitious student who wants to join us and bring our robots to the next level! 🚀👏

Your responsibilities
As a Robotics Engineer intern in Yuman, you will be responsible for fostering our mobile robots towards autonomy. Your main responsibility will be to develop a robust mapping and localization system that works in dynamic environments, that are constantly changing. We would like you to be part of the team for at least the duration of the internship.

Your key responsibilities will be:

Develop a robust system from localization and mapping system.
Use research to evaluate and test existing methods and improve upon them.
Test the developed system both in a simulation and in a real mobile robot.
Assist Andrei and Sara to develop our mobile robots.

Your Profile

Currently pursuing or recently completed a Master’s or Bachelor's degree in Robotics or Autonomous Systems (or another technical related field).
Experience developing robotic solutions with ROS - preferably ROS2.
Strong interest in mobile robots, computer vision and perception
Experience working in Linux.
Able to commit to a full-time internship.
You like to get challenged and have the ability to work in a startup - where the environment is dynamic and agile.🙌

Nice to have

(Strong) software skills in C++ and Python.
Experience in robotics - preferably mobile robots.
