RF Design Engineer

Job Description:
Qorvo Aalborg Denmark RF Business Unit is currently looking for experienced RF Design Engineers to assist in designing RF frontend modules for cellular handset applications. The products include a wide range of high performance, low cost, power amplifiers and other front-end products.  

Key Tasks and Responsibilities: 

• Primary function is Product Design and Evaluation: Schematic Capture, IC layout, Simulation, Package Analysis, Evaluation Board Design, Design Validation.
• Product Definition: Assist Marketing in defining new products through feasibility studies and technical competitive analyses.
• Product Documentation: Document all relevant product and design information to educate others on novel design techniques and provide guidance on product usage.
• Product Characterization: Work with Characterization and Test Engineers to define, conduct and analyze data from product performance characterization.
• Production Test Development: Work with Test Engineers to define, develop and ramp production test solutions.
• Product Support: Work with Applications, Product, Test and Manufacturing Engineers to help answer customer questions, assess field failures, support yield improvements, etc.

Required Skills:

• Well-developed communication skills.
• 2G, 3G &4G system level experience.
• Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills.
• Direct experience with current top handset or chipset manufacturer in the design of power amplifiers, RF IC design.
• Hands on use of RF measurement equipment to validate performance.
• Experience with software tools: ADS, Momentum, HFSS.
• BSEE; MSEE preferred.
