Research Associate (laborant), Forest Products, R&D, Bagsvaerd (2 positions)
We are looking for a new Zymer to join our dedicated Forest Products R&D team that focuses on developing new biotechnological processes for a more sustainable pulp and paper industry.
Together with a scientist you will be responsible for planning and performing laboratory experiments related to our R&D projects and industry support tasks. You will work with various enzymes for modification of pulp fibers with both current set-ups and assays yet to be developed, where the analytical methods will include physical strength measurements of paper sheets, HPLC analysis, TOC, TN, COD and spectrophotometric assays.
We have two positions open in our team: 1 temporary (1 year) and 1 permanent. Please indicate which position you are interested in when applying.
In this position you need:
- To be a trained laboratory technician or the like
- To have a solid technical background
- To be able to work independently and show flexibility
- To be used to working with Word and Excel and have a critical eye
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written
- To have worked with application development and particularly with experimental planning and data processing (an advantage but not a requirement)
