How to contribute to our vision
For our Reliability Modelling team within the Risk Modeling & Assessment (RM&A) department, we are looking for a skilled and dedicated Reliability Data Scientist for building, maintaining and improving statistical reliability models for SGRE products. RM&A has the responsibility to assess our products’ reliability and has a significant business impact.
You will be part of a team of highly skilled quantitative experts and you will have interfaces to all major business functions, from Product Development, Product Portfolio Management to Operations and Sales & Projects. You will be involved in technical evaluations on product component level, as well in discussions on business strategies and customer requirements. This will give you the opportunity to gain deep technical insight combined with overall business understanding.
Specific job tasks in this role will cover:
- Analyze lifetime data and develop predictive statistical lifetime models for wind turbine components
- Support the development and optimization of new products with insights from reliability and product risk assessments
- Communicate changes and updates in reliability models to relevant stakeholders
- Support management of warranty claims and root cause analysis
- Contribute to company digitalization e.g. by development of user apps
What you need to make a difference
Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change. We are looking for you, who wants to make real what matters and who wants to change to world to renewable energy.
The ideal candidate holds an academic degree within statistics, mathematics, physics or similar in combination with thorough practical experience with
- Applied mathematics or statistics, preferably within reliability modelling
- Working in a programming language e.g. R, MATLAB or similar
- Implementing your skills in a fast-developing business
- Team work, close collaboration and a supportive mind set
You have a high professional competency and you have a desire to develop your skills. You have good collaboration skills and you can manage to act in different cultural contexts. To thrive in this position, you must have a strong result- and customer-oriented approach.
