The job
As our new colleague you will be working in our Regulatory Team in Copenhagen. The Team forms part of Regulatory and Client Risk & Control which is a global department who work closely together daily. We are part of Saxo Bank’s Group Operations which has app. 300 employees globally.

The team’s main responsibilities are to act as key stakeholders and SMEs within Regulatory Projects, support and monitor new upcoming regulatory requirements and changes to existing obligations, and to ensure correct and timely regulatory reporting globally. We work closely together with our IT department as we analyze, develop and implement new and enhanced reporting facilities.

As our new colleague you will form part of our Team in Copenhagen and be reporting to the Head of Regulatory and Client Risk & Control.

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Drive the annual US IRS tax reporting (QI) incl. preparation of forms 1042 and 1042-S and controlling the affiliated reconciliation processes for Saxo Bank Group
  • Act as a key stakeholder in implementing new international regulatory reporting requirements facing Saxo Bank Group.
  • Support Saxo Bank Group’s transaction related to reporting and liaising with local offices in UK, Australia, France, China, Switzerland and Singapore.
  • Participate in improving documentation and processes within the Regulatory team

Your profile
We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:

  • You have comprehensive knowledge of investment banking products (Stocks, CFDs, Futures and Options) and its entire lifecycle
  • You have worked previously with US tax reporting to IRS
  • You have an academic background (preferably a university degree within Law, Accounting, Economics or Finance)
  • You have minimum of 4 - 5 years’ of experience from a similar role in Operations or as Consultant and are looking for new challenges and a chance to grow your career 
  • Preferable you have a good understanding of Corporate Actions
  • Preferable with relevant experience in writing business requirements and working closely with IT departments.
