Regional Sales Manager for Siemens Power and Gas

For our power generation controls systems function within Siemens Power and Gas, we are looking for an experienced Sales Manager with the knowledge and drive to sell one of the finest controls systems for large power plants on the market. With Siemens you will be part of the transformation of the Danish power generation system from fossil based into biomass and other renewable energy based production and contribute to meet the challenges the industry is facing in the future.

Your new role - challenging and future-oriented
You will have the responsibility for the development and performance of all sales activities in the Danish market so as to achieve the targeted growth in line with the Siemens’ vision and values. 

You will be responsible for achieving profitable sales results by establishing and implementing business plans and sales strategies, by interaction with the key customers in cooperation with our head quarter and by leading the assigned teams to generate competitive proposals directly leading to the penetration and/or expansion of the existing business base.

What are the tasks?
To lead the entire sales process. You will be responsible for the overall order input and Business Development progress. This means frequent visits to the customers and business partners to cultivate relationships in order to maintain existing customers and to expand the customer basis. 

  • Development of successful sales strategies to proactively promote Siemens technology and to achieve the sales targets
  • Continuous competitive research and analysis to determine areas for growth of opportunities
  • Defining customer value propositions that add real value to the customers' business
  • Sales coordination between different business units within Siemens
  • Conduct contract negotiations

What do we expect from you?
You are passionate about sales of complex systems including engineering and commissioning. You have good knowledge of integrated control and of industrial control systems (PLC/Scada), of field bus and network installation, and finally field instrumentation and relay protection. Furthermore, you master to utilize IT in production environments as well as operation systems and typical client/server configurations. 

  • Good knowledge of Cyber Security and Cloud based Data Storage and functional safety
  • Preferably a good knowledge of power generation technology and thermal plants
  • Capable of high level contract negotiations
  • Fluent proficiency in Danish as well as English
