Job description
In this job as Project Manager, you will find yourself in the centre of our product development activities leading cross functional project groups through the development of new products.
You will be responsible for driving the projects from early specification and planning and until the products runs smoothly in production. You will manage the projects in a highly dynamic and high-tech environment together with colleagues from all parts of the company such as Manufacturing engineering, Supply chain, Regulatory affairs, Product management and, of course, from the functional groups within R&D. These typically are engineers with expertise in electronics HW, FirmWare, Acoustics, DSP, Mechanics, etc.
Your task will be to lead your cross functional project group through the project in the most efficient way and you will secure the deliverables within planned time, budget and specification.
You will be responsible for continuously developing our product development skills and development processes.
Skills and Competencies
To succeed in this job, you must have an interest in working with all stages of product development and have a practical approach with the result in mind.
Furthermore you:
- Have experience and interest in high tech product development projects
- You have developed devices containing a combination of electronics, mechanics, and FW
- You want to prove yourself in leading cross functional product development groups
- Have experience in working with Stage-Gate product development processes
- Have excellent leader skills and are good at motivating your group
- Have excellent skills in oral and written English
About you
You may be a project manager already or you are a Project engineer that wants to move on to project management.
You are used to work in a diverse environment and have a practical focus on getting things done. You’re independent and self-driven and take on the planning and coordination, driving it from start to finish. You have an analytic and structured approach and focus on how to get things moving in a hectic environment. You are enthusiastic with a high degree of personal initiative and like to work in a highly dynamic and international environment
