The nine members of the team hold a high level of experience and competence in optics, physics, microfluidics, biochemistry and microbiology.  We are an ambitious team but have an informal and humorous tone, and strive to deliver biotechnological solutions performing to the edge of technology and price.

Qualifications
You ideally come with a M.Sc. degree in engineering, physics or similar and preferably, a Ph.D.

Experience with the following topics will be considered an advantage, but is not a prerequisite:

  • Hands-on experience with fluidic systems

Personal skills
People describe you as structured, innovative and self-driven, yet you value a strong team and the effort to share knowledge.

Your record of accomplishment shows an excellent ability to understand complex systems and to work systematically with troubleshooting. Furthermore, you have a curious mind, thrive on challenges and can integrate the work from many engineering disciplines.

Since FOSS is a global organization, it is important that you have very good English skills, both verbally and in writing

We offer
We offer you a job with excellent opportunities for professional development. You will have the opportunity to leave a significant mark on FOSS’ future technology and business opportunities.

The daily work takes place in an innovative and interdisciplinary environment.
