Quality Specialist, Product Quality Management Food, Bagsværd
We are looking for a quality colleague to the department; Product Quality Management Food (PQM-Food). The department consists of 10 highly skilled specialists covering quality aspects of our food product range from raw materials to the finished product.
The department is securing high quality food products, providing information and responding to customers and internal questions in a timely and professional manner.
The specialists in the department take care of approval of our raw materials and suppliers, handle customer complaints related to product quality, and are responsible for the global food safety strategy in Novozymes, including performing internal GMP audits at Novozymes' food production sites.
You will become part of a team of experienced and competent QM colleagues in Denmark and abroad, supporting our food and beverage industries.
You will be a part of the global raw material team, do qualification and approval of raw and packaging materials, be involved in audits of suppliers, give input to the quality part of supplier contracts, and in close collaboration with our sourcing department support our sourcing strategy.
In this position you need to:
- Be an engineer or have a similar technical MSc degree
- Have experience with food safety and quality management
- Have experience with production of food ingredients and/or processing aids
- Preferably be an auditor (FSSC 22000, ISO 9001, FAMI-QS)
- Have excellent communication and networking skills
- Be fluent in Danish and English, verbally as well as in writing
- Be structured, able to prioritize, maintain overview, and handle many simultaneous tasks
- Be a fast learner, and able to digest a lot of information
- Be customer-oriented with a desire to make a difference to our business
