Quality engineer
Garia is looking to hire a Quality engineer who will cover outgoing quality control at our production facilities in Viborg
Due to high increase in production volumes we need to expand the quality department. Garia is looking to hire a Quality engineer who will cover outgoing quality control at our production facilities in Viborg, Denmark and in Houston, Texas. The position is full time and we are looking for a candidate which can start as soon as possible. Location of employment: Viborg, Denmark.
You will be a part of our Engineering team and stationed at our production facility in Viborg, Denmark. Your role is to oversee and maintain outgoing quality control in Viborg and Houston. You will also document and follow-up on all quality issues received from customers. With the dual role between Viborg and Houston, expect 75 days of travel each year.
With a systematic approach you will:
- Create and maintain quality control practices at our two production facilities
- Follow up with suppliers to keep quality levels high with each delivery
- Review, comment and edit drawings and datasheets from the engineering department or from suppliers
You will be referring to the COO, situated in Viborg.
Qualifications
- 5 Years of experience as Quality engineer
- Knowledge of ISO/TS 16949
- Bachelor or Master degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical)
- (fluent in English and Danish)Good communitive skills which allow you to communicate with all parts of the organization
- Knowledge of CAD systems, preferably Catia V5
- America (preferably ESTA-countries)You must have a passport and citizenship of a country which allows you easy travel to North America (preferably ESTA-countries)
- Driving license (B for normal car)
