Quality Assurance (Student)

Job description
The perfect candidate work methods should be methodical and logical and should thrives with responsibility and freedom. You will collaborate with other QAs, but also be able to create scenarios and different test mechanics on your own. This job requires you to use your technical development knowledge and skills to explore ways to test WasteHero monitoring platform whilst working in close collaboration with back- and frontend teams. Your main task will be to oversee and ensure that our features have the highest quality and identify technical bottlenecks before we merge to our production server. You will be supervised by our competent tech team regarding the functionality, usability and stability of processes and test mechanics.
- Work with a small team of student workers and QAs to design, develop and launch processes and test mechanics
- Create detailed test documentation and communicate findings to either SCRUM master or your supervisor.
- Partner up with developers and data scientists to improve test and release processes
- Always stay up to date regarding the latest features on their pipelines
The position requires a minimum of 16 hours (depends on your circumstances) per week. The hours are flexible, and we can plan them around your studies. We are looking to fulfill the position as quickly as possible.
Requirements
- You are currently enrolled in a relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree program either in Computer science or a similar education
- Excellent communication and writing skills in English
- You should be self-motivated and able to work independently
- Be proactive and able to think outside the current processes
Bonus skills and experience
- Understanding of basic software development practices (Agile / Scrum)
- Previous work experience in a similar student worker role
- Experienced with unit-testing and end-to-end testing
