Quality Assurance Manager

Would you like to take leadership of driving the technical expertise within test automation, laboratory accreditation and quality assurance, and contribute to Danfoss’ journey for more energy optimized and IoT connected products? If so, then you might be the new Quality Assurance Manager we are looking for at Danfoss Heating in Vejle or Nordborg.

Direction setting and enforcement of the overall test strategy
As Quality Assurance Manager, you will be responsible for heading and providing leadership for a team of approx. 10 employees, primarily engineers. Your role is to take clear leadership of defining and enforcing the test strategy, methodology and test framework used across different projects. Your expertise will be required to maintain and extend the Heating R&D laboratories. Some of your key responsibilities: 

• Laboratory maintenance including accreditation to EN1434 and EN17025
• Product testing in R&D and production
• System test (integration of mechanics, electronics and software)
• Product approvals for electrical and mechatronic products in the Danfoss Heating segment portfolio

Enthusiastic leader with excellent communication skills
You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronic, Mechatronics and/or Software Engineering and have several years of experience working in an R&D organization. Especially, you have excellent knowledge of risk management, risk identification and risk based testing. You also have solid leadership experience with teams of minimum 5+ employees. You know how to motivate a team, recognize good talent and bring out the best in each individual.
 
On a more personal note, you are flexible and used to working under pressure. Likewise, you are assertive and proactive, have a strong mind and are a quick thinker. In addition, we expect you to be able to communicate with all levels of management and peers within the organization, which require that you are an excellent communicator and have influencing and negotiation skills to get management to buy-in on ideas and concepts. We also expect you to be in close contact with all key stakeholders to ensure that quality assurance vision is understood and implemented correctly. Last, but not least, you master English both verbal and written.
