If you are looking for a job with major freedom to act and equal impact on a global scale, this is just the job for you. That is, if you have QA experience and a good understanding of food safety (FSSC 22000) and quality system governance. You will join a team of seriously skilled colleagues working across the entire Chr. Hansen organisation. If you have a good drive for results, the sky is the limit for what you can achieve.

Create sustainable performance improvements on a global scale
Your overall focus is to create sustainable performance improvements. You will do so by identifying need for quality improvements and turning those into projects that you will take from initial problem specification to final implementation – always with a solution oriented attitude that balances compliance and business needs. Potential projects could be e.g. to gain a deeper and data based understanding of complaints, or how to create best practises derived from multiple audits across the organisation.

Your tasks will be to:

  • Analyse data originating from primarily customer complaints, deviations and customer audits
  • Define and drive improvement projects - very hands-on
  • Ensure effective anchoring of improvements
  • Describe new procedures and implement those in our quality system or in IT systems like SAP
  • Plan and carry out training of colleagues

Most of your projects will derive from data analyses that identify problems, which afterwards will be scoped via the dialogue in the Leadership team. Though you will work across the organisation your travel activities will be limited to approx. 10-15 days per year. You will be based at the Danish headquarters in Hørsholm, Greater Copenhagen and report to the Head of Quality Assurance.

Technical background and QA project management experience from the food business
You have a technical education as Engineer or similar. This is backed by experience from a quality organisation in the food business providing you with a good understanding of quality system structure, effective procedure writing, food safety, product quality and customer perceived quality. You have project management experience and you are used to drive projects hands-on from analyses of data to writing of new procedures. In addition, you have experience as auditor, you understand Lean principles and you can work within the Six Sigma framework.

As you will be working cross-organisationally you will need all of your ability to collaborate and create sustainable relationships – across cultural, professional and geographical borders. This takes very good communication skills in English, written and spoken. As such, you can transmit your personal enthusiasm to other people around you and ensure deliveries according to plans and deadlines.
