About the department
Diabetes Finished Products (DFP) provides vital products of top-quality for patients all around the world. DFP Bagsværd is a production facility, responsible for formulating, filling and inspecting diabetes and obesity products. We produce for market and clinical trials and handle the launch of new products, ensuring the future growth of DFP and Novo Nordisk. In our department, DFP QA, we are responsible for the quality and compliant aseptic production of these life-saving products. If all regulatory requirements and standards of the Novo Nordisk quality system are met, we release the product to the market.

You will become well acquainted with some of our key activities and will be an integrated part of the department from day one. You will be involved in improvement projects where you will be introduced to different LEAN based tools and IT/BI solutions. Some projects are pre-defined and others are initiated along the way based on current challenges as well as your interests and competencies. You will get a unique insight into how the production of medicines is progressing, and how we continuously optimise and simplify our way of working. Novo Nordisk also has a large student community in which you can expand your network and meet other interns and students with a similar passion.

This internship is an excellent position to begin a career within the pharmaceutical industry or in production in general. Our preferred setup is listed below:

  • Internship period: 6 months
  • Working hours: 18-37 hours per week
  • Start Date: January/February 2022
  • Salary: 12,000 DKK per month (plus company pension contribution)
  • A Danish full-time work permit is required.

Qualifications
We are looking for one intern, who are ready to take on a variety of tasks and be part of smaller projects across our four teams. You may be studying within Health and Medical Sciences, IT, Engineering, Business or an entirely different field. Most importantly, you share our passion for quality management and continuous improvements, and you are keen to acquire professional competencies and learn the tricks of the trade.

You like to work independently and you have a good analytical sense. We expect you to have a certain flair for data analysis, IT systems and process optimisation. Experience with Excel, programming and/or BI tools such as Tableau & Alteryx will be an advantage. You possess a can-do-attitude and have no problem working in a busy environment. You dare to challenge us in our way of working and have a desire to take initiative as well as be responsible for your tasks and learnings. You approach your tasks meticulously, and you are attracted by the opportunity to use your skills in an ever-changing and complex working environment.
