About the department
LABs is a part of Manufacturing IT in Global IT department. In LABs you will be a part of a highly engaged group of people working with IT systems for Product Supply, developing and improving systems which are core to the laboratory processes in Novo Nordisk. You will be participating in the operation, maintenance, and development of a global GxP critical IT system. 

You will be working with a team of colleagues both in DK and India, and you will have ample opportunity for professional sparring and best practice exchanges in your daily work. Furthermore, LABs is involved in projects with Product Supply, collaborating closely to ensure that business processes are adequately supported by IT systems as well as supporting Novo Nordisk on the QC 4.0 journey towards paperless labs.
 
The position
As our next software developer, you will shape and implement technology as well as business solutions to deliver value to the users in various business areas, ultimately addressing some of the biggest business opportunities we have in Novo Nordisk. You’ll have a chance to immerse yourself into not only the tech, but also understand the ins and out of the business challenge as you engage with the team members as well as internal stakeholders to shape the best solutions. 
 
Your main task will be to build and maintain innovative digital solutions. As a technology choice, we are primarily using the Microsoft and AWS stack, and are focused on building full end-to-end digital solution leveraging cloud and CI/CD pipelines. Teams work agile through the SCRUM method, and your day-to-day work will involve iterating on the product backlog in close alignment with the Product Owner. During maintenance, you will work with your colleagues in operations to ensure continued value to our users.
 

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, we believe that you should:

  • Have Relevant Bachelor’s degree (Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering or similar) or alternatively several years of experience in operation and maintenance of IT systems
  • Be skilled in Python (OOP-focused and test-driven)
  • Be familiar with AWS (preferred) or other cloud solution (Azure, GCP)
  • Understand CI/CD pipelines (and ideally work with them
