Project Manager - world class radar systems

Project plans, coordination of resources, reporting, on-going follow ups…
As Project Manager, your focus is to ensure high quality deliverables within agreed deadlines and budgets. You will manage 3-5 technical development projects at a time with a typical span of 1-2 years - all the way from first idea to final presentation for the customer. The development part of the projects is created by Engineers with specialities across mechanics, microwave, electronics, FPGA coding, embedded and high-level software as well as UX/UI.

Your primary tasks will be to:

• Manage technical development projects with cross-functional engineering teams
• Develop project plans, coordinate with Team Managers and follow up on deliverables
• Present progress and burn down charts to the management
• Assist in resolving resource conflicts between projects
• Assist Sales and Marketing with demonstrations for (potential) customers and the technical description of quotations
• Contribute to the shaping of Weibel’s project management setup for the future

As you will join a small organisation with multiple projects, your success will, to a wide extent, depend on your ability to make your agenda prioritised. This calls for your ability to explain “Why, What and When” in an easy understandable and motivating way that also demonstrates your good overall technical understanding.

+3 years of experience within technical project management
We are looking for a profile that sees project management as their profession - with additional motivation for personal learning and development. You must have overview and the stamina needed to keep up momentum during long-term projects where direction and priorities can evolve on the way. As part of this you must be able to apply structure across multiple tasks and processes. Additionally, you can plan your own and other people’s work and get things finished on time - and you are not afraid of making decisions.

Your CV comprises:

• A technical degree at minimum BSc level
• 3+ years’ experience within technical project management
• Experience across various methods including scrum and agile development
• Microsoft Project experience
• Experience or motivation for developing your skills within: Requirements management, Risk Management, Systems Engineering, Systems Architecture, Reviews, Production Documentation, FAT and SAT, Navision and Power BI.

Development - your new department
You will join our Senior Project Manager and approx. 55 Engineers working in various specialist teams and cross-functional projects. The department executes the Engineering development and prepares projects for production, drives the production of 0-series systems/sub-systems, as well as participates in testing and final delivery to the customers. We are all situated in the same open office space at the Weibel headquarters in Allerød, north of Copenhagen. An open dialogue, helpfulness and a common will to move things forward characterize our environment.
