What are you going to do?
The Department of Repair and Maintenance must ensure that all equipment is running and you will need to support that the department gets the best framework for this task. As Project Manager, it is your responsibility to define and execute the projects that run in the department. You will have to collaborate with stakeholders on the projects, and to act as a project resource to a certain level.

In short, the projects aim to streamline the maintenance function through digital systems that can increase the transparency of daily activities, and through collaboration with external parties who must carry out activities at the right time and at the right price.

The tasks can generally be described as:

  • Building systems and processes for maintenance - both by using other resources and by own execution
  • Develop plans and support contractual agreements with suppliers
  • Occasionally assist with planning and purchasing

Who are you?

  • M.Sc or B.Sc with technical background
  • +2 years of experience in project management
  • Experience with contracts and agreements with external parties
  • Experience with digital systems - preferably Power BI, Excel and more
  • Experience from metal- or machine industry is an advantage
  • Technical insight into production technology and automation
  • Ability to read and communicate orally in Danish as well as English

How is your new team/area of business area?
MAN Energy Solutions' production unit on Teglholmsgade in Sydhavnen has a long and proud tradition for production and development of MAN ES two-stroke engine components, which currently include injection and valve systems. The total production unit consists of approx. 250 committed and competent colleagues in production and administration. The factory works in close collaboration with engine development and R&D, as a product-maturing and series-producing unit. All 250 employees are potential project participants in your future projects. Colleagues from R&D and development will also be natural partners and in some cases project participants, if the project requires it.

You will be part of a team of seven Project Managers and two Department Managers, all of whom report to the Head of Technical Support & Operations Development. You are part of a larger unit of 35 people, which ensures Project Management, Six Sigma, production development and Repair and maintenance.
