Welcome to our HW Test & Verification team in R&D. Together we are responsible for delivering all Test and Verification elements to the ongoing portfolio of R&D projects, including test related strategy, implementation, project management and production support.

As our new Test & Verification Project Manager you will be responsible for the execution of test, verification, and compliance on the FOSS R&D projects, you manage. You’ll do so by setting strategic targets and making an ambitious delivery plan for each project, in close cooperation with project stakeholders. During the project execution you’ll provide status updates, technical insight and sparring to your team members, projects owners, and external partners. You will also co-operate with our segment and project managers in FOSS and secure a good understanding of tasks and priorities with the Test & Verification team.

Further, you will work closely with colleagues in Product Compliance on setting a new standard for compliance, ensuring continuity between our design practice, legal conformity, and testability of our instrument designs. Therefore, we invite you to maintain and improve your skills relating to harmonized industrial standards, guidelines, and compliance frameworks (e.g CE, UL, ATEX, AAA, EHEDG), to sharpen your profile as trusted advisor within your field.

We use the Scrum method to plan and follow up on our work times in the team and expect you to step right in and participate in building a strong backlog for yourself and the team.

You can look forward to taking on a strategic role where you impact and improve on our R&D design methodology. Our shared goal is to ensure that we constantly improve on coherence between design, safety, conformity, and testability.

What will make you a successful Test & Verification Project Manager

Our ideal candidate holds a relevant degree, for example as Electronic Engineer, Software Engineer or similar, with minimum 3 years’ experience within a hardware test and verification related field.

You ideally also have experience with:

• Relevant hardware testing including reliability-, environmental- and machine safety.
• Production test solutions (hardware and software) with NI TestStand and NI LabVIEW. 
• Compliance Experience with the CE-marking process.
• Reading and interpreting harmonized standards and guidelines.
• Collaborating with Notified Body partners such as FORCE and UL.
• Office 365 work and collaboration tools (SharePoint, Teams, Planner)

As a person you are proactive and able to seek out the necessary information for your projects as well as follow through on your tasks. On the team of project managers, you will have a central position with overall responsibility for the teams’ deliveries, requiring you to have good cooperation and communications skills.

You work systematically and in a structured way, and you thrive on solving complex technical and practical problems.

Since FOSS is a global organization, and since you will be writing documentation and descriptions in English, it is important that you have excellent English skills both verbally and in writing.
