As our new Project Manager, you have at least 5+ years of proven project management experience, preferably within large engineering/design projects. You are result-oriented and a strong decision-maker who can involve and inform the stakeholders throughout the project. It is important that you can work under pressure and meet deadlines while never compromising on safety and quality. 

Your main responsibility is to manage technology and product development hardware and SW projects with a high degree of technical complexity. You are must balance needs across the R&D, Marketing and Operations to ensure optimal project output.

You will work with system engineers, Hardware, Mechanical, SW, Quality and Operation engineers to ensure technical and system integration perspectives and delivery focus.

Your primary tasks include:

• Drive cross functional product development, serving as a role model and mentor, inspiring colleagues to attain goals and pursue excellence
• Monitor risks and assess risk levels, balancing innovation level versus risk
• Maximize project value through understanding and recognizing technology needs, business drivers and value implications in balancing risk, cost, scope and timeline 
• Clearly communicate project status, decision requests and risks/issues to Senior Management as well as advise and influence decision making by presenting options and recommending actions

You are a strong, technology savvy and motivational project manager, who is passionate about technology, quality and the use of best practices and methodologies. Your professional integrity guarantees strong stakeholder management, allowing Senior Management to have confidence in execution, progress and deliverables. 

Your background:

• You have 5+ years of industry experience, managing projects with a high level of technical complexity, working with front-end product concept development and innovation
• You have experience applying appropriate exploration techniques leading your project team through concepting and innovation
• You hold a master’s degree or similar, preferably within the field of engineering, giving you a solid technical understanding
• You speak and write English fluently
• Preferably, you have a PMI certification within project management
