The job 
You main responsibility is to drive introductions of new products in Production and Supply Chain, acting as primary point of contact towards R&D. You will drive enhanced customer satisfaction by optimizing production flows, quality and cost across FOSS global value chain when introducing new products.

You are on top of the situation on the shop floor, align status with production management and coordinate Production & Supply Chain activities in the development process with other project participants.  You will coordinate product introductions across our global value chain holistically balancing requirements across production, supply chain, sourcing, logistics and quality. You refer to the senior manager of the plant but also cooperate closely with senior managers across Foss. In daily business, you are in close contact with colleagues working on the new products.

You will primarily work in FOSS Hillerød plant, but you also reach out to our plant in Suzhou China. You should expect 10 - 20 travel days per year.

Primary tasks
A real hands-on mentality will be required to manage new product introductions in production & supply chain. You coordinate activities, optimize processes, document flows and implement manufacturing solutions balancing service, cost and quality.

In the earlier stages of the development process, you evaluate the new product and processes outlining the future production strategy for the new solution.

You evaluate the product & process design assessing produceability through the product lifecycle and development process. Off course by pulling on the knowledge and coordinating the work that must be done in your own function.

You pave the way and make sure production processes, system setup (SAP Data), documentation and training is done successfully.

During the projects you identify and implement areas for continuous improvements.

You are responsible for prototype and 0-series build where the complete production and supply-chain setup is validated.

Qualifications
We are looking for a “hands-on” project manager driven by the desire to coordinate new product introductions. You are probably engineer, educated within Production Management, Supply Chain or similar disciplines. You must have technical knowledge and an interest in effective manufacturing and industrialization of technical solutions.

Experience with LEAN, logistics, supply chain management, project management and coordinating new product introductions is expected. Having worked on the shop floor with production management and a formal project management certification is considered an advantage

  • Well developed problem solving skills & ability to challenge solutions and processes.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • High level of written and spoken English & Danish.
